Hey all,

So as much as I would like to have a limitless capital to throw into mods, I don't see that being the case for about a year. I've already installed an FE kit, and just yesterday, did the dual headlight mod. I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas for some cheap mods (ie. under $150) to keep me occupied for the winter. I was thinking about going for the integrated tail light, but I wasn't sure if it would pass inspection in New York.

Frame sliders - will save you more money then you ever put into your bike
Paint - windshield, forks, pegs, etc
Pod light mod is pretty cheap
LED lighting if you like that kind of thing
12V socket
rim stripes
grips
decals
tank pank
brake lines

I have yet to find a tank pank for under $150 yet - you have a link? :D

I'm thinking about doing the integrated tail as well. I've seen them here before on other bikes. but if I do it it'll still have the normal directionals so I think that would cover the inspection issue. not sure though.

paint or polish is some of the cheapest mods you can do.(lots of stuff to paint exhaust, pegs, radiator covers, triple trees, etc.)
FE kit
Puig/paint stocker if thats your thing (check out sideshow downs write up)
Sliders <this should be on the top of the list
How is all your gear? Need anything new? That should also be near the top.
The rest is up to you.......

Joe Rocket makes a tank bag called a manta. Its very small, I fit my half cover, cell phone, wallet and gloves in it. Its only about 60 bucks.
