Buell 1125CR test drive

No, I am not looking at getting rid of the FZ6 but when I got my FZ6 dyno tuned a few days ago, +3.3hp and an extra 4mpg. The guy who ran the dyno does it as a side business and works at a Harley shop. While talking the opportunity came up to test drive the Buell the next day. Wow, what a bike, it has the soul of a bull. It was hot to sit on while waiting at a construction site, did not like super slow speeds at all, and had a lot of windblast at higher speed. The plusses where the motor once it got going, and it could go, tranny, and even the stock exhaust sounded great. It is a primal bike for sure. Put a big grin on my face.

Sounds like fun, though may get old real quick if you owned one as an only bike. I've ridden a couple of Buells in the past and I walked away with this same impression.

I am hoping to wrangle a test ride on one of those bad boys this summer, it would be worth a look for me if i ever decide to get rid of the FZ.... Not that i foresee that happening.
