Saw another post and got me thinking about all the bikes that I have ridden, so I thought I would ask the masses.

To keep the list short and eliminate rides in parking lots, let’s say bikes that you have rode over 100 miles (or what every that km that is). This should have been a long enough ride to get somewhat of a feel for the bike.

So, what bikes have you logged miles on?

Here are my few. Only been riding about 10 years.
1988 Sportster – First bike.
2000 Honda Shadow 750 – used to own
1997 Sportster - Friends old bike
1997 Ninja 600R – Brothers bike
1978 Goldwing GL1000 – Dads old bike
1997 Kawasaki Voyager - Dads
2004 Fatboy – one of current bikes
2005 Heritage – Other bothers bike
2008 Beull Ulysses XB12XT - Friends
2009 Beull Ulysses XB12Xt – Another friend that bought his after riding other friends.
2008 FZ6 – one of current bikes.
2003 Deuce – Another friend
2007 Roadking – Friend above that has like 5 bikes in 7 years
1998 BMW 1200R – Second buell guys other bike
I think that is it for me…
Bikes I want to ride, an old Norton or BSA.

Wow you're going to make me think on that one.... Here's what I came up with. I started with dirt bikes as a kid and moved into street bikes as soon as I got old enough.

early 90's yamaha pw50
yamaha pw80
yamaha ty80 (little trials bike)
Honda XR 100
Honda CR80
Kawasaki KX80
Honda CR125
1978 Honda CX 500
2000 Sherco Bultaco 250 trials bike
2002 Sherco 290 trials bike
2006 FZ6
2009 Ducati 1098
2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic
2010 Harley Davidson Street Glide
2006 Honda CB919

I think that pretty much does it for the ones that I have spent any significant amount of time on.

Oh my god where do I start. I started riding in 1976 so might be easier to say what I have not ridden ;) I have to say though that the biggest disappointment was my 2007 Hayabusa. I bloody hated it, I know it goes totally against what every report seems to say but I found it uncomfortable, heavy and just no fun whatsoever. My FZ6 is now 8 weeks old has 3000 miles on the clock, 1500 from my latest trip to France (see my other thread) and have to say its the most fun bike I have ever owned. I love it to pieces and wish I had bought one earlier :cheer::cheer::cheer:

All the bikes in my sig. Also put about 12 miles on a Ducatti GT1000. Great bike. Definatly out of the parking lot. I had a blast. Oh yea, Beull Blast. Learned on that one. Not out of a parking lot, it was the class bike. Spent about 2 days on that running drills. Wouldn't buy one.

I am new to riding as of last summer so the list is short:

'04 Suzuki SV650 (friend's bike)
'06 FZ6- current bike (trying to sell :( )
'09 Suzuki Tu250x- current bike

I really want to ride a 2010 Triumph Bonneville SE; my Tu250x is my 'baby' Bonneville for now!

Interesting - Dinodude - had a good friend that had a Suzuki 380 in the mid 70s, he was a wild man on that bike. Funny how one remembers certain things form 35 years ago and can't remember what they did yesterday. :Flash:

Was it the razor sharp handling that put you off? :D
