Bent hugger bracket

Anybody had this problem

The front hugger bracket bends outwards and pulls the hugger out of shape

Its happened twice now on our FZ6 fazer, once when the missus was riding it and today with us both on

The missus reckons the suspension bottomed out at some point and done the damage

Its easily fixed but hammering the bracket back in but its getting a pain

I upped the preload on the back which was already on 5 to full[7], hopefully this will stop it

The last time it done this the tyre wore through the right hand side of the hugger and I trimmed the hugger neater and painted it so it did not touch the hugger this time

sorry no pics it was not really possible to get the right angle to show the bent bracket, but have u heard of this?

did you fix it, and when you 2 up channge the shock to 7, that way you don't have to worry. As far as the hugger, are you talking about the rear brake line bolt?? If you can take a picture that would help.
