Hands down the best and most memorable trip of my life!
Some random thoughts:
- I absolutely love Italy. So much so that I will have to figure out how I can move there (eventually)
- The history and the architecture in Italy, France and Spain.. simply astounding!
- Italian drivers are insane, BUT.. it's controlled chaos. There is a very heavy scooter/motorcycle presence and everyone splits lanes.. not in what we call a safe manner, but at speed, going into oncoming traffic, twisting and weaving like you wouldn't believe, but all the cages (cars, buses, trucks) make room for the bikes. There's not that much honking going on.. no road rage. It's really quite awesome to observe.
- Authentic Italian food is ridiculously delicious.
- Economy seats in Boeing 777 and THE.. WORST... SEATS.. EVAR!! OMG so incredibly, painfully uncomfortable! Thank God we flew Airbus 330 on the way back.
- I saw more FZ6's on this trip than I have in probably the past 5 years here in the States. It's a very popular bike in Europe.

Enough rambling.. time for some pictures!! (I'm going to post up a very small sample of what I shot)

You was right here! Next time I hope you visit Portugal! I can be your ciceron and show you the sightseeing and some really nice and curvy roads!
p.s. I think you have a stalker, she's in a couple of pictures!:cheer:

Welcome Home.

I felt guilty flying in business class in those lie flat seats to and from Japan while the majority of the passengers were cramped like sardines in the main cabin. After drinking too many free beers, I was too embarrassed to use the same toilet reserved at the front of the plane that I started walking back to the rear of the aircraft to use a different toilet. That's when I noticed that every seat was occupied and everyone sitting upright.

I may just shell out for those lie-flat seats, next time
