Love the metal statues down the side of S3. First time I saw them I thought I was hallucinating because of desert heat . There were a lot of people out in Borrego yesterday and it was because of the summer blooms and it was a perfect day to be out in the desert.

My friend and I rode through there around 10 am, stopped at the visitor center for a pit stop, nice restrooms but gravel parking, and then headed on up Montezuma.
