Man that sure does look sweet! I'm thinking it will fit right in with the FZ look plus it will probably provide some wind buffering! :thumbup:

It does look big on that Suzuki, but i reckon it will look better, when put on a black bike, which will help to make it look like part of the bike more, not like it is just chucked on there....and as such, the size will be less of a problem...
Will also help that the Puig bellypan i have on the bike, has similar lines to this item...
Time will tell, and if it dont work aesthetically, then i am sure it wont be hard to sell in Oz, as this sort of stuff is as rare as rocking horse poop in these parts of the World.

There is definitely a similarity, except that the Puig unit is much more basic, and IMHO the puig unit needs additional paint, by the looks of it, to bring it up to looking more like an OEM unit, and thus, more a "part" of the bike, rather than just chucked on as a replacement.
My aim will be to get this thing looking like it's meant to be there, and i think decent paint, and the right set of indicators, fabbed up properly, will do the job.

I'm definitely interested in seeing how it turns out! I agree with you, and think that with the right signals and paint, it should look pretty cool.
I think I would really like the OEM FZ6N headlight better, though. :spank: Maybe it's because it's rare and not in production over here in the states.

I agree, i think the OEM FZ6N headlight looks the best...But i cant use clip-ons with the OEM unit, unless i modified the mounts, which i think would make the OEM unit look strange, if it sat further forward on the bike...
If my bike did not already have a seat cowl & bellypan, i think this unit would look very strange...but with my seat cowl in place, i think, this will balance the look, from front to rear, and the bellypan, will be a good stylistic reference point, in the middle of the bike....i think making these accesories look good, is a matter of obtaining a balanced, consistent theme, and style, over the whole bike.

erm. yes.. i prefer the looks of the projectors side by side, that's y i got the streetfighter instead.
yes! give it some paint! unlike mine, cos i was unsure how long i was going to keep that bike. no doubt its a good bike (its so common here, throw a stone and you can hit 1 of that bike) but i would like to try a bigger cc bike, thus i ended up with fz6.
well obviously the fz6 was a good choice of bike. Again, thanks for all your feedback re the puig lights...it is hard to find any reviews, or photos on the net.
I'm tipping you'll be wanting to change your mirrors for this one. Something a little more angular. I didn't even really look at your clip-ons. Will they take the bar end mirrors?
yes they will take the bar end mirrors, there is a plug in the end of the bar, pull the sucker out, wedge the mirror rubber thingo in, and hope for the best when tightening!
other than that, i will use the same mirrors the last time i rode the other FZ6 on the road with clip-ons...unless they are in Kadina too???

The gap is too low... The clip-ons will be mounting flush up against the bottom of the top triple clamp!
It's been 20 days since my new headlight left Spain for Australia...am thinking that shipping will take another 7-10 days...but boy am i getting impatient!
Cant wait to see how this thing is going to look...have roughly mesaured it's provided measurements for width and height of unit, and it looks to me that the headlight unit will hang with the base of the unt at about the same height as the OEM FZ6N headlight unit, and the screen should sit about 200mm above the instrument panel.
While i am here, i have been finding some pretty decent inspiration recently...

I'm drawn to this Pyramid Mantis,though I might be a bit biased,being an ex Duke2 owner
(That was a great little bike)
Priced at £200,I don't spose it's too bad and it's E marked,making it legal over here.But to get one,I'd have to consider selling my standard unit first.
