I am new to riding also. But here is what I have found. When I had my bike on the preload setting and I hit a bump it seemed to me the bike would bottom out hard. I weight 250 pounds so they may cause it also. Then I decided to let my wife ride. It was real bad. I pulled over and got the special wrench out of the bag under the seat and adjusted it to 7 the hardest setting. I like it much better that way. I even leave it like that when I ride alone. But I also haven't been doing twisties. I also slow down to take a curve. I don't lay all the way over I do some but not much. But like I said I like mine better on the 7 setting.

7 FTW! :steve:

I really like the 7 setting. I which I could afford a good after-market fully adjustable!
