2012 Mileage Figures Anyone?

This will probably be the highest year for me as my desire for long trips is waning. I know I am not playing by the rules, but I checked by looking at an invoice for work done on the bike on December 11 of last year and since I was living in Michigan I put the bike away for the year. Mileage then was 26,464. I am now in Florida with a 105 mile commute for work andI looked at my mileage today: 45,656.

I purchased the bike new in April of 09 and it has become a member of the family.

The odometer of my bike has 27,700 miles right now.

I'll take a picture tomorrow so it counts to finish up this year and start next one!!!!

I had to take advantage of perfect riding weather, even if it meant heading to the office to work for a couple of hours!!!!

My total for this year is 12,498 miles (unfortunately almost no riding during December for me).

Happy New Year for everybody.

I'm out. With both my kids leaving Colorado this year and the purchase of the dual sports.....well, I just didn't put many miles on the FZ1.
 
Lol can I add my miles from the KLR and my ole mans Strom :BLAA:

In all seriousness I've done over 25k on 2 wheels this year 14k on the fz, 8k on the KlR, and about 4k on my dads Strom!

Rode so much this year I had to put a battery tender on my truck as well as using sta-bil on every tank of gas :BLAA:
 
Slightly over 70480 km ...
This was the most recent odometer shot taken when I finished a 21 day tour to Alaska and back on her... 13006 km in one trip... Began the year at 52048...
Its a good sign when you are clocking a tour by the amount of oil changes required... Haha.
 
17,834 mi was my start.
just hit 27,116 miles it rained so damn much I hardly got to ride this month :(
riding to work in the 27degree cold doesnt suck as much as this dang rain.

27,116-17,834=9282 miles by my odometer, which is still thinking I have the stock 16t gearing instead of the 17t.
 
I friggin' deleted the pic I had at the start of ther year by accident:banghead:
I think its in-between 8 and 9 thousand miles last year.
 
10,856 miles. My lowest total since I've owned my FZ. Very disspointing, but I do have another bike which I did not include. And I do live in a cold weather climate now, got to 10 degrees for the low and I actually rode my FZ in this condition.

You're nuts Kenny, just nuts I say!! :eek::BLAA:

There should be an award for the most extreme climate change residences in a single year which you would win hands down.
