Thanks bud. Picked up some new gear today
Teknic violator riding jeans with kevlar and removable knee pads
Teknic Violator Denim Jeans - Street Motorcycle - Motorcycle Superstore
and Icon super duty 2 gloves
Super Duty 2 Glove - Black | Products | Ride Icon

jeans-I love them, they are super comfortable, and other than the mesh vents and stretch spots you can't tell they aren't "normal" jeans.
gloves- The gloves feel great, but some of them are longer in the pinky finger on the left glove so I had to sort through the selection to find ones that fit right. They are a little tight but once they wear in they'll be perfect. My Icon contra jacket gets in Friday and I'm excited to get it. Two Bros gets here tomorrow!

My cans are here! But one of them has a nice rash on the tip. Little bit low and to the left of the flash reflection. Atleast I can mount them so you can't see it

Once I get off work at 5 I'm gonna start putting them on.

That glove offers almost no protection. Get something with a hard knuckle to absorb impact and if you want additional protection get something with a longer cuff if weather permits.

Pro tip, If you hate wiring just as much as I do, you'll know why I was so happy to find this. I already had a FE kit and I wanted to reuse my signals. Too my joy I found out by unplugging the stock harness I could slide the nut over the connecter and not have to cut any wires.

Eh, I like them for now, I'll still probably pick up the Icon Pursuit gloves eventually. I like the short cuff style gloves so I'll stick with that style.
Congrats on the new pipes, they look great!
Thanks! I need to get a rag and get my grubby fingerprints off them but I'm very happy with how they look and sound.

What's up yal. I'll have my first bike Friday, a 2005 fz6 "faster blue". Im pretty damn excited. Only has a lower air dam as far as mods go. 10k. I'll be doing a rear fender delete for sure and brake light with integrated turns

Haha how strange. The PO sent me that pic and I misunderstood him thinking that was his bike but he actually said it looked like it. Gotta love that silver and blue color combo!

From the short ride to the shop for grip heaters I like them a lot over stock. Setting 3 feels most comfortable for me
