2005 fizzer

Got the bike. O5 fz6. 13xxx. Flush mount turns in the front and. Fe in the back with worn out aftermarket turns I'm replacing soon. Dropping it off for tires in the morning

I bought a new helmet(one in the pic is 8 years old) a jacket(what in the pis was the best I had in my closet lol). Still need to get pants but my local place didn't have much. This bike is so fun

OES sent the wrong short side slider, I bought the 2" in the short and extended length and the short one was the smaller diameter so I get to call them tomorrow. and here is my brain bucket I bought today, spent the last hour and a half riding after I went and got a cable lock to chain the bike to my porch until my buddy two doors down gets me a key to his garage to keep the bike in.

From what I could hear from the audio...
Sounds just like mine. Not saying right or wrong, but just like mine.

There's a thread on here about making your own manometer to sync the throttle body, I plan on doing that before my 1500 mile trip to Vermont in two weeks, supposed to smooth out the idle nicely along with a smoother engine throughout the whole RPM range.

Also, check your idle RPM's, listening to the video a second time sounded like it's low. Hit the 'Select' button on the instrument cluster until RPM's are displayed. Manual states 1250-1350 is recommended.

Awesome guys over at OES, just got an email back from Noah, He'll have the correct short side slider to me by next week and told me to keep the other one that was sent to me.
 
oh I'm super excited, If I didn't need to take my truck home this weekend and had pants/boots I'd ride the bike for the 2 hour trip home and take the more scenic route rather than the interstate. buying bikes was always my Dad's and I's dream, he may not be here anymore but I atleast finally got my own bike
 
Do our bikes have any kind of rear running light in the taillight? My buddies were behind me on the way to dinner and with my plate light out they said I vanished until I braked for the intersection

Hard to tell from your pic, but what did you do with the front signals? Are they flush mount? I dont see a stalk sticking outbfrom the faring, just curious. Im thinking of modding my stock fronts with some LED flush mounts myself.
 
They are flush mount in the front and were already installed when I bought the bike. They are incandescent and pretty damn bright. If I switch to LED I'll have to change the flasher relay so for now I'm leaving them since they work just fine. The biggest thing I want to do to the bike is exhaust, it's too quiet
