2005 fizzer

I learned how easy it is to pop a wheelie yesterday, on accident. I think stunting is pretty cool as long as its in a safe and geared up environment. But I was leaving work uphill went to hit 2nd, somehow missed it and stayed in 1st and hit the throttle expecting to be in 2nd and the front jumped right up. Brought it back down no problem. That was definitely something I don't feel like doing again

cleaned and lubed the chain on the bike just in time for it to downpour, went to walmart to buy a cover and they happened to sell grunge brushes so I picked one up.

Got a free jacket from my buddy. Went pillion gear shopping, got a helmet with built in drop down sun shade and a bilt jacket. Also bought a sedici tank bag. iPhone in the otterbox just barely fits in the clear phone pocket. Win.

Well I dropped the bike today. No damage other than a scuffed mirrors thanks to the frame sliders. Unloading it from the truck I lost the bikes balance holding it once I got both wheels on the pavement. Yesterday I did the bikers for babies event in Kc. Bike was perfect. And now I'm lookin at doing a custom exhaust like Chevy did. Mom wants the bike to be louder lol

Heres some pictures from Bikers for Babies KC

well the stock exhaust should get here from motojoe by the end of the week and I can start my chevyfazer style exhaust project

It sure felt like it lol. There were plenty of other street bikes there, some geared, a lot squids. My huge pet peeve I have is when I see a guy on a bike not wearing a helmet and its strapped to his passenger peg just so he can wear his stupid flat bill hat. and nope he's not, his fiance bought it for him

My spare stock exhaust came in the mail so I can start cutting it up for my Chevy fazer style exhaust project. And I just ordered a 12 piece led kit from LEDGlow to light me up at night. Funny thing is I'm doin these mods because my Mother wants me to, that way I can be seen and heard lol

Heading to the next town over in a few minutes to pick up some pipe for my exhaust project, I don't have my welder here but I can atleast get the pieces cut and fitted and then maybe borrow the neighbors

WTF scumbag drill bit

Decided to drill my baffles since I didn't want to wait to build my exhaust. Brand new bit meant for steel from home depot. I have better luck with harbor freight stuff I swear

luckily for me I keep a telescoping magnet in my tool box in the truck, don't have to worry about that rattling around in the muffler now.

oh, and I added a little school spirit to my passenger helmet since it's all white

went and got a 7/8" drill bit and 12" arbor and finished drilling out the exhaust, sounds much better. and my 12 piece LED kit came in the mail so I put it on the bike and like it, only I've found the fz6 is more of a 11 piece LED kit. I have one 12" strip I haven't found a home for yet. I have to go back into the wiring tomorrow and tighten everything up, once I start the bike the lights shut off after a few seconds. but it looks cool sitting there lol

I'm going to take pics of where they are mounted tomorrow. But there's a strip on either side on the front inside the air gap in the fairing and it reflects the individual bulbs on the part of the fairing you can see so I might take that off and paint the inside flat black so its more of a glow and not individual bulb reflection

Well I've healed up enough from my burns to my hand and forearm to be riding again. For a couple weeks now I've been getting more seat time on the fiz. Including a two hour trip today, and to be honest, it sucked. Even with winter riding gloves my hands get cold because they sweat, with thermal socks my feet get cold because my boots are cold. I made it a half hour before I'd had it with my neck gator and went and bought a balaclava. I hated the balaclava, it pulled on my facial hair on my chin and the eye opening was too small for my comfort. And overall it made my helmet fit weird. And I forgot earplugs so the last half hour of the trip was hell. Other than having to do the whole thing again to go home and around town stuff I'm done with long winter rides. I don't mind around the town stuff but that's it for anything over 45 minutes. Anyways, happy riding everyone :)

So for a while now my mom has been bugging me about the bike. She says its way too quiet and she wants it to be louder so the cagers hear me. So I think I'm gonna be getting two bros aluminum cans in the next couple weeks :D I can't wait

Next on the purchase list:

Fz1 bars
Heated grips
Icon pursuit gloves(ripped my old icon mesh ones when I went down)
Icon contra jacket( my scorpion doesn't have the extra length of material on the back side that keeps my belt line covered and that drives me nuts)
And a pair of Kevlar lined riding jeans( my over pants work great for long trips but I want something for back and forth to classes/work and such)
What do y'all think

Two Bros Aluminum cans are ordered :D
wheel stripes ordered
FZ1 bars are ordered, heated grips will be put on when I do the bar swap. I'm excited for all my goodies to get here
