Hey all
Had my first off not long ago at low speed on my FZ6, I was going slow round a corner due to rain and I'm not sure why but the bike just slipped from underneath me and slid down the road.
Luckily the crash sliders did there job and stopped most of the damage but I have cracked the...

Hi all just wondered what everyones must have tools for general maintenance were. Specialist tools can be included as its all interesting to hear what people use on their bikes. Ive pretty much got most standard socket tools etc I know its all relative to the job In hand but there might be a few...
For this years winter (if it ever shows up) I got a set of Bikemaster Heated Grips. I quickly threw them onto the bike yesterday and just hooked them directly onto the battery to test them.
Now I want to integrate the grips with the bike so that they shut completely off when the bike is off. I...
Few minutes from my lunch ride. Pretty much all of the roads around me are like this. One of the reasons I moved here :)

Gonna go give VERY serious look at an 08 FZ6 tomorrow. Guy wants $3500 and it has 34k on it. Here's the kicker, he has no shred of documented maintenance whatsoever. I have been talking to a nearby independent bike shop about the maintenance schedule posted here on the boards in the tech...

This week I'm in training for my new job, learning a CAD program called SolidWorks.. It's a brainbuster, hard, insanely fun, and I have a damn migraine after just three days. I think I'll be loving this new job, once I get through the learning curve!
I thought we had a "What do you do for a living" type thread here, but couldn't find it.
Monday I start a new job. The last five years I've been doing "odd jobs" in the Maintenance Complex at HAFB; my immediate bosses have been great but the level above them, well, had no business in any...
