I am the sole owner of the bike. Since I bought it in January of 2008, I have not even put 9000 miles on the bike. This bike is clearly wasted on me, and so it's time to find a home where...

So yesterday I'm out riding with a couple of friends. One of them does a pretty good, well balanced wheelie on his bike, keeping the front end up for several seconds.
I decided to give it a go. I used low gear and jerked up on the handle bars while giving it some power. It worked, but I...
You've probably seen a group of bikes riding in close formation down the interstate. I used to do it at times, but I gave it up years ago. It's just too dangerous to be that close to other riders with no way to evade and avoid an accident.
I hate being proven right. Because they were...
I'm fixing up a CX500 Turbo for a friend. It's an interesting bike, so I decided to make a video blog of the work I'm doing on it.
Here's episode 1 and 2.

I've been trying to figure this one out, and I can't come up with a good answer.
Some googling found a claim that this was needed to keep the oil in.
That makes no sense because the oil would all spill out when the horn was being shipped.
Then I found this autopsy of a Nautilus horn...
This was linked off of LoneSoldier's hillclimb video.
I wish I hadn't clicked it. I really do think I am going to vomit now.
Don't look at this.
Just don't.

So I noticed that there was a strange wear pattern on my rear brake rotor. There was a rough bit near the outer edge, like something was rubbing.
Sensing a problem, I began to take the rear caliper off. And here's where I made a mistake.
To get the caliper off, you only need to...
So my neighbors call me this afternoon.
"We just got finished with insulating our house (which did not have insulation in the attic since it was built in 1985) and we have four bags of fill left over. The machine is already rented. Can you use it?"
Boy howdy, I didn't hesitate. So after...
...you go for a ride and as soon as you pull onto the highway and get it up to 50mph, a cloud of dead bugs blows up out of your fairing and into your visor.
I'm a bad Fizzer owner. I've been ignoring the bike far too much this summer.

I've been keeping busy on this beast. This weekend was headlight and seat time.

That is all for now. I'm going to try and post updates to this thread as...
I just picked up a Hayabusa headlight for the Black Bike.
It's got two lights, an upper and lower. Can somebody tell me which one is the high beam? And, when the high beam is on, does the low beam light stay on?
Driving home yesterday, I found a fishing rod and reel sitting in the middle of the road. See, it pays to stay alert!
I went back and picked it up. There's no identifying marks and only a little road rach on it, so now it's mine.
The rod is a Featherlight X-Stream by Eagle Claw...
These are just utterly brilliant.

Yesterday I was leaving for school and noticed that a neighbor had a piece of computer hardware sitting on the curb. Collector that I am, I stopped and collected it.
I just hooked it up and tested it. It's a perfectly good photo printer/scanner/copier. It just needed ink cartridges.
So...
If you hadn't seen it already, makanouchi modified his FZ6 to put xenon projectors in it. The writeup is here.
My bike has two H4 bulbs, giving it two high and two low beams. I also modified it in such a way that I could quickly go back to the stock H7 bulb on the left side, leaving the bike...
