Hey Guys (and Girls)
I've had my Fz6 S2 since july last year, and have done about 5,500 miles on it. I was wondering how many miles any of you have got out of the stock tyres that come new on the bike? and what you'd recommend as a good replacement for when these start to go?
Cheers
Mark
If, in theory, I was riding too fast on the motorway, and there was a mobile speed camera on the opposite side of the carriageway, would that camera be able to get me?
obviously this is all just hypothetical.
Cheers
Mark
Thanks very much for your help there.
I've already found the "quirks", and they don't bother me in the slightest. I'm going to take your advice though and book it in tomorrow
Cheers for all the help guys.
I've got a TomTom Rider. It does the job really well for me.
I know that the Garmin Zumo (i think that's what it's called) Is another option, that has some more features such as mp3 playback.
A popular option is a phone GPS, or normal car satnav in a tank bag. It's loads cheaper
Cheers

I problably should have mentioned, this is happening when the clutch is fully pulled in. It doesn't always happen. I could probably let the clutch out, pull it in a second later and have nothing go wrong.
does this change anything? sorry for being a mong and not stating this in the first...
Ok, so I'm not the most technically minded person in the world, and i've got a problem with my bike. It doesn't do it all the time, but it's not very nice when it does.
it's an 09 fz6 with about 2,200 miles on the clock. Sometimes when i change from either N into 1st, or from 2nd into first...
I will do my best to enjoy it. I've managed to win two tickets, so i'm getting a free lift there of Mrs Mark85 and staying in a hotel. Score!
On the downside, I did have another look at the bike and see some scratches in the tank which have about doubled the repair cost.
I don't suppose any...
mine went down last night
What was I doing? Flying round a bend at 65? Pulling a massive wheelie? Out on a track day?
Nope. I was doing a U turn about about 2mph and went over a patch of gravel. I felt the bike start to slide so i put my foot down (on another patch of gravel) and ended up...

Personally I wouldn't do it. The worst I've done is pop to the shops in a pair of 501s instead of my leather pants, but I never do that anymore.
It winds me up when I see the kids 50cc scooters whizzing around here wearing a track suit, or shorts and t-shirt. The road underneath them is...
Do any of you go to any of the UK music festivals, and if so, do you ride down there of take another method of transport?
I went to Donnington (or "Download" if you're that way inclined) this year, but couldn't ride down as I'd only passed my test the day before and hadn't picked up the bike...
Cheers all. I've taken the plunge, and ordered a TomTom Rider V2 UK edition. I can't see myself going to europe in the next few months, so if I need the extra maps, I'll just buy them.
It should be here within the next couple of days, and when it arrives I'll post a review of it somewhere...
