    TCP Seat Cowl Group Buy

I could maybe do $230... If you find it again please let us know! But know this-- the price has gone up significantly on the TCP seat cowls in the last year alone. I don't know why, but it has. So if you saw it a long time ago, you probably won't find that deal again.

    A Taste Of Tampa, Florida

Oh, since someone mentioned Bright Futures.. one more thing to consider: The cost of higher education in Florida may be well below the national average right now, but Governor Charlie Crist is about to change that!

    A Taste Of Tampa, Florida

I was born and raised in Miami, and personally, I hated that place. Way too many people... most of them learned English as a second language (if they know any at all) and most of them can't drive. I'm actually glad that I learned to drive there because Miami is a kind of worst-case-scenario as...

I'd be interested in an '07 Blue... but not for $249, that's still too much :/

    Dent Be Gone!

Wow... very impressive work!! I have a scratched fairing... I guess the process would be about the same? If I got it right, I would have to: 1. sand it smooth, feathering the surrounding area 2. primer 3. paint 4. wet sand 5. clearcoat 6. polish That about right? How...

    I voted!

I'm voting tuesday morning! There's a polling place like a block from my apt and I figure the lines will be shorter then (with all the additional polling places open, and everyone going to their assigned polling places...) I've heard of early voting lines being up to 10 hrs long in some places...

    Metisse lowering kit

 For that amount of money you could have upgraded your shock spring to one of these HyperPro (30mm lower) rising rate springs (AND had it powdercoated a less hideous color... I don't know why they make them that color at all ) That's my plan anyway, whenever I get around to...

Lower your bike for free! ...SLIMED

A few days ago I posted a thread describing how I wanted to lower my bike by about an inch. I thought it was going to cost me several hundred dollars between clip-on bars and a new rear shock spring... but last night I figured out a much simpler way to do it: just ride through a construction...

    Lowering the FZ?

Actually, I just feel like the bike sits a little to high/has a high center of gravity. Maybe that's just me. The height of the bike because really apparent whenever I'm parked next to a full fairing super sport... I'm not that short (like 5'9"), my feet sit flat on the ground as is, I just feel...

    Lowering the FZ?

Hi guys, I've been looking into the possibility of lowering my bike about an inch. Hyper Pro sells a lowering kit (front and back) for $280 USD-- which is more than I'd want to spend on that mod alone, but I was also looking into doing the whole clip on bar thing... I really like what bertmoog...

    200 miles one tank

Wow, I'm really surprised to see so many of you getting 50-something miles to a gallon. I don't think I've ever gotten better than about 40 mpg (87 gas). I tend to shift around 5500-6000 rpm during normal riding, is that too high? Most of my mileage is just around town for short distances (here...

    Fast acceleration from a stop

Yeaa, I did the same thing for a few days when I first got the bike! heh. Then I adjusted the clutch cable so I don't have to pull it in as far... problem solved. So I always have my index and thumb on the left grip no matter what. As for the throttle side I brake with my index and middle...

    First time going this fast

:shakehead: That is why I ride alone. You have only been riding 5 months, don't get ahead of yourself, you aren't Nicky Haden yet. Take it easy out there and use better judgment on the road if you want to be riding (and ALIVE) much longer. You are not --nor will you ever be-- invincible. I...

Painted / powder coated exhaust Down Pipes?

How about chroming? Has anyone tried chrome plating their header pipes? I wonder if it would hold up to the heat without discoloration ? I've been thinking about doing that since I saw this pic...
