SoCal Riders! Should I move to San Diego?

Yeah...I need to get some more info about the position and figure out what to do from there. I'm worried about the cost of living. I don't want to work for the man until I'm 90 y.o. Well, anyways....thanks for putting up with me. :D

SoCal Riders! Should I move to San Diego?

I'll see what happens. It won't hurt to just talk about the position. It could be nothing...or EVERYTHING! You can still go crabbing in Maryland. I'd rather just buy it from one of those stands by the side of the road. Well put!

SoCal Riders! Should I move to San Diego?

I may get a job in San Diego. There's a good chance I'll get it, if the funding goes through. I don't have a job offer yet, but one of the project leads in Cali wanted to know if I wanted to talk about moving over to San Diego. I have no idea what it's like, I've never been to LA or San Diego...

Mounting tires without tools* (and other tire tips)

I'm able to spoon a tubed and tube-less tire on and off a rim. I use 3 tire levers, rim savers and a c-clamp to break the bead. This is how I got started, plus countless vids on youtube: Neduro's Tire Changing Class - ADVrider The c-clamp has to be used to get the tire past the inner...

    Long ride, next week

if you just want to get there in one day, you're stuck with the major hwys. blue ridge parkway will get you through a chunk of that. plenty of sights, food, camping and motels along the way (or kind nearby). you can do it in 2 days, it's a good compromise.

    Changing all the fluides

i think you should replace all fluids...even the coolant. you can still ride the bike, just be sure to replace the fluids sooner than later. the transmission is lubricated by the motor oil. replacing your motor oil would be the most important, followed by brake fluid, coolant and then fork oil...

Compact tire plugger kit for commuting and touring

this kit is nice. remember that for touring, you want a pump. if you're about to do a lot of miles that day, it's better to check your tire pressure, especially with changes in weather and elevation. i've done 2 long trips on a motorcycle and i checked the tire pressure almost every day...

Compact tire plugger kit for commuting and touring

My friend is going for a short trip and asked me about good pumps. I read on advrider about stripping down a slime pump. I did the same thing, so I decided to help him out. I have an enduro that uses tire tubes, so I'm loaded up like a mule in case I get a flat. I've become quite good at saving...
