Seat Cowl SOLD! FZ6 was fun but the M109R is just plain sweet. Tons of torque/power.

As much as I hated to let the FZ go, I went for a brand new Suzuki M109R Limited Edition. I ended up trading in the FZ but I took the seat cowl and Lower fairing off. Both are for sale. I also have a Yamaha FZ6 cover as well. All parts are in excellent condition. Thought I'd post here first...

Everything was $50. Well worth it. Local Powder coating shop near me called Cast Plus Yea a 14mm socket for the dampers and Rust oleum for the shift lever assembly

I used a 14mm socket and pounded them out with a hammer. The control rod ball joint remained on because it actually did'nt get powdercoated. I did that myself with Rust oleum flat black. I could not get the ball joint off and I didn't want it to get baked after powdercoating. Other people have...

Had the Rearsets & Clutch/Brake levers powdercoated black. Looks much better. Should have came from the factory this way. Visually I'm done with mods! But one last mod to come is a Power Commander which should be here within a few days.

I was debating whether to remove them. In my opinion the bike looks much cleaner without them.

I used Label & bumper sticker remover to get the left over adhesive off. The tank decal just peeled right off using fingernails You can get it at wal-mart or autozone. I also used a hairdryer to heat the left over adhesive up. Makes it much easier.

Removed tank decals! Next and final mod will be to powdercoat rearsets.
