I ordered these frame sliders a while back on ebay. They arrived. The packaging didn't really contain anything in the way of instructions. They do however have instructions online. They recommend professional installation. Really? I mean really, it seems so strait forward--am I missing...

Fazed_ya As quick as you are on that red bike of yours I'd say any mods from here are pure gravy. That being said, gravy tastes great and sometimes it's the perfect thing to order. I'm curious, what mods would be on your short list? What overall direction would you like to take the bike?

We just had a hard rain here and the weather cooled off so I went out for a nice ride tonight. While out, I tried all of the recommended rpm/mph combos that I could recall. I came to the conclusion that you're all right! :BLAA: What great fun-- your methods all bring something to the table...

Sounds good. Friday(s)/Saturday(s) would be better than Sundays for me. Totally understand the young family thing. We have a 3 year old and a 10 month old-- congrats on the new lil' one! :thumbup:

Thanks, yes sometimes, but I wasn't thinking of that as much. When on the morning commute in stop & go it's pretty clear where my rpms are going (nowhere). ;) I was more thinking about in the afternoon and evening when the traffic is lighter and I have a bit more open road. In city areas...

Hello everyone, I have only been riding the fz6 for a few weeks now; I'm really enjoying her. Anyway she offers a little different style of riding than my last bike and I'm still figuring out what she likes best. What rpm range do you find yourself riding in when riding in the city? Thanks...

I know I should stop and wash her for this post but for now this will have to do. Just a couple weeks into ownership of this lil' girl. Love her ta pieces. Still learning the engine/throttle quite a bit different than my old speed triple.

Will do. I'm primarily commuting at present-- not a ton of "off" time but I'd like to go for a spin sometime.

I've really enjoyed the Joe Rocket Reactor 2.0 in mesh. It does still have cowhide shoulders and elbows but feels cool enough to me in most situations.
