So I just got my headlights in and have been tinkering witht he wiring trying to get the headlights to function like stock lights. I have been trying to get the high and lows to work as well as have both the left and right function together. very difficult because i do not know what wire to cut...
Thanks guys. figured it out. I did not know that when the light bulb is unplugged that that is what the relay plugs into. So now things are starting to make sense. Ok as far as the mod goes, that is a lot of work boneman also says there is another way to do the mod and I have seen vids on...
Just wondering where this relay gets connected to on the fz6 for the hid projector headlights. I lifted up the gas tank and could not find any female end or wires to connect into, am I missing something here? Do I need to buy a female end to plug into? Thanks. Supplied pic below for reference...
I just got my hid projectors and was wondering a few things
1) how do I connect the ballasts to the wiring harness? Do I need to disconnect the harness that is on the left fairing or cut into the wires and tie in? The directions with my projectors didn't say how to do this and I couldn't...
Ok, so I will just wait for everyone else then I guess when it comes to a red light going onto the freeway. I just assumed that since bike riders are allowed in the carpool lane that they are allowed to go through the red lights safely onto the freeway, only.
What is the purpose of bikers...
I was wondering this, because I saw another rider do this, and I am new to riding, so I just wanted to make sure....... Is it allowed for bike riders to go through a red light on the freeway entrance lights?
And while were on the topic of the awesome perks we get, haha. I am allowed to be a...
I hear left and right that they help you stand out because people can hear you coming. Some people think this is not true, that the exhaust really isnt that loud enough for other drivers to hear you, even if the radio is on and windows rolled up.
I think they would help, in some cases, but...
I noticed on some race bikes the brake oil container is right in front of the bike set high by the visor screen. What is the purpose of it being there? Does it have something to do with those bikes being down and low around corners and allowing gravity to force it to the hydraulic brakes better...
I was thinking about getting brighter lights for my bike so I can see better and be seen better. I saw very few conversion kits for the fz6 2008 model on e bay and amazon, and almost none in well known online bike retail stores. I know there are different temperature lights and I was thinking...
Yeah maybe your right. I should save that $800 for general maintenance, plus my neighbors would kill me if I got those slip ons. Haha. Thanks dude!:cheer:
Thanks for the invite.
Why do you need fuel management for the headers being changed, but not the slip ons?
What would happen if you changed the headers and did not put a fuel management device in the bike? Would it hurt the bike, or just make it run bad?
Do you think the slip ons...
I have the stock exhaust on my bike and wanted to get the carbon black series from Two Brothers. I heard from someone that if I put an after market exhaust on the 2008 fz6 that it will harm the engine. He said that the fuel mixture would be off or something of that nature. I have heard of some...
