Looks pretty good. Did you just completely remove your rear turn signals then? I'd have to leave the fender on as the SW-Motech rack I use for my givi bags uses it as a mounting point, but would like to get rid of the signals.
:D
Honestly though, I wonder why car manufacturers haven't done something more with automatic blinkers. If someone is turning and the car detects the blinker isn't on, it turns it on automatically and off when it detects the turn is finished. All could be overriden manually, but I wouldn't...
You said you sent your tire in to Michelin already? Are you sure you got the same one back? Would have been pretty easy for them to keep yours and give you one back that was blown due to improper tire pressure.
It wasn't this guy was it?

According to the twisted throttle website, most Large sized helmets should fit. I bought a pair this week, so I guess I'll find out when I get them if mine does, but I don't really plan on putting it there anyways.
I've been going back and forth trying to decide between the givi rack and the...
Took a trip from Layton down to Gunnison with the wife his past weekend and stayed at the B&B there and rode back the next day. Pretty good ride overall and some great weather.
Coming up in May, I'm planning on meeting a buddy in scipio and riding down along fish lake hwy and through torrey...
Did you watch the video? Around mins 5 to 7 you can see some crashes. They mention Lockhart basin in that(small glimpse around 6:55). I've been through there on a jeep before. I wouldn't even think about doing it on a larger bike, especially alone. Some of those areas are pretty far from any...
What do you like to do?
If you like national parks, there's some good ones to hit.
If you come from the south, you'd really want to hit Zions National Park. My guess though is you'd probably be heading west from colorado on I-70 so you'd want to go to Moab and hit Arches and Canyonlands...
When you say Rockies, are you coming through Utah? If so, I can point you to some places. You could even crash at my place if you felt like it. I'm more in the north, but if you drive up from the south on your way to yellowstone from texas, you can hit a lot on the way. Might be a bit out of...
I generally seem to get about 45-48 mpg. I'm 185 lbs, 2009 FZ6, all stock. These are mostly freeway miles. Mostly traveling between 70-75 unless it's a bad traffic day.
I was riding passenger with my wife in a car a few years ago and was hit by a woman making an illegal u-turn. She was in the right lane on a 4 lane road(2 lanes each direction) just past a stoplight and a curve. We were traveling the same direction and she turned right into us. She was cited...
I bought a slightly used 2009 last year for 4250 base price from a dealer. After tax/title/license/fees, It was about 4850 out the door. It had just over 1200 miles on it.
6000 seems way too high to me for a used one. I'd wait around a bit for a better deal.
I *think* vescos in Brigham...
Edit: Guess a lot of kit wiring harnesses disable it, so good chance on a racing bike it would be disabled anyways, plus I was told near highsides can trip it as well, so many racers just disable it.
Here is a post from one of the bikers in that video. According to him and his discussion with the police, they considered that pass legal.
This happen on a road we ride all the time.
