"Also the shops that charge you more are more likely to stand behind their work. The ones that do it for cheap don't really care what they screw up because they know you will be back because you pay the cheaper rate. "
I am sorry, but this is a load of crap, plain and simple.
"Also at the...
Had one for a year, really enjoyed it. Found her cheap online, was sort of a fix er upper type deal, previous owner was a real squid. Ended up selling it, and purchased a gixxer. This forum was a great tool when I was fixing it up, good people, wealth of knowledge. Stuck around to sell some old...
Totally agree about the highway. The group I ride with does alot of highway runs, and I felt like a big wind-sail, which at high speeds felt really unsafe for me. Kind-of a mute point for me now however, got a gsxr. :ban:
Hey, sorry guys havent been back much since I sold her. I sold the rear tail section, thats it.
To Jim, Yes I still do have the bars.
To DefyInertia, Sorry, I do not have that part.
To RoblesFZ6, I am in Southern New Jersey, right outside of Atlantic City. And I still have the windscreen.
Well, I sold my bike and I have some stock parts laying around. All items are used, and are in used condition. None of these parts have over 3000 miles on them. I live in Southern New Jersey, so if you want to try to calculate shipping costs thats where it will be shipped from.
Stock exhaust...
I have a EZ pass and I just throw it under the seat. I registered it to my bike, so they check to see if I have a EZ pass before they mail me any tickets. Shortly after I got my EZ pass I installed a swing arm license plate mount and since thats been on I haven't really had to pay any tolls...
A little late here on the discussion, but I too did a sprocket conversion. I didn't exactly go 15/48 I went a little more extreme, but for my purposes it really really worked out. The acceleration the bike has now compared to before to me is night and day, and I would do it again in a heartbeat...
He had it originally listed for 3,200. It was some father selling it for his daughter. He had told me over the phone that it was in perfect condition. I guess he didn't even look at it, or just took his daughters word for it (who lied). It appeared that she tried to sit on it a few times and...
I feel your pain. I kinda had the same story you did but the damage was not as severe. I noticed the damage on mine when I bought it and the original owner played dumb, but since I spotted it I was able to embarrass him into giving me a great price.
Anyway, heres where I went...
A washer for the inside and outside Deadbug might make it more sturdy, but pretty much all of those signals are one bolt. And yes, the hole is that big because of the wires. (most aftermarket stalks have the wires inside the bolt which is hollow)
I'm not sure if your on a budget but there are...
Not that I condone it, but I used to know a guy that had a tiny hammer with a small holster on the side of his bike, when ever someone did something like this to him and was arrogant enough to not care about the mistake they made he would take out their side mirrors (he had one of those license...
The Two Brothers exhaust removes some brackets with the install, and it supplies you with a new bracket that mounts a fender eliminator which also holds the cans up. I mention this because in some of your pictures it looks like what those racks bolt too, is no longer there. This also may apply...
