    Bye bye FZ6... :(

So, I sold my 2008 FZ6 last Tuesday and picked up a 2007 VFR. I got a terrific deal on the VFR, 6000 miles, full givi luggage, touring and original windshield, and built in Garmin Zumo 450 for $4600! It's the 25th anniversary edition and looks nice. I felt horribly guilty for selling my FZ6 -...

    FS:2008 FZ6 $4k/OBO (Boston)

Owned by a sedate rider. I'm the first owner. Has about 10,380 miles and increasing. It's been my daily rider for the past 2.5 years since I bought it new and has been a fun all round bike. Has a Givi Trunk, motivation sliders, accessory Puig sport-touring screen (1.5" taller and slightly...

    The VFR dilema

So, I came across a great deal on a 2007 used VFR in the 25th anniversary edition. The price is under $5k and it looks to be in good shape. I have had my FZ6 since new in April, 2008 and put 10,300 mils on it almost all city. I ride the FZ6 in the rain and two-up, almost exclusively in the...

    Seeking more low-end torque

OK, so now that I have a Ducati Monster 696 to share with my wife and have ridden a BMW F800ST for 10 days and 2500km in Europe I am really feeling the need for more low-end torque. Most of my riding is in Boston. What would you guys suggest be a worthwhile modification (aside from getting a...

    Yamaha lowered seat

OEM, 3cm lower than stock. Ordered from Germany and paid $355 two years ago. Now that I am much more comfortable on my bike and have ridden taller bikes I decided to put my original seat back. Would part for $200 if someone is interested. It's in very good shape.

    What's a fair price?

I'm thinking of going for an Aprilia Tuono that I have been eyeing....more of a passionate move than a logical move since there is nothing wrong with my bike. I bought my bike new April, 2008. I have about 4900miles. I have a few add ons such as the Givi trunk, frame sliders, Puig screen and...

Spidi leather pants size Euro 48 (US 32/33) - SOLD They fit probably like a size 32/33 jeans. I am a size 30 jeans. Never worn. Still have tags on. Very comfortable Italian leather. What a great feeling to ride it again after 3 months

Was always planning on riding through the winter like I did last year, but we got way too much snow and my bike is outside under a cover and a cover of snow. So, was not able to ride for almost three months! Now, I didn't prepare my bike. No winterizing as I was thinking of riding it. So, I took...

    Dual lights on in Europe(?)

Yamaha FZ6 Fazer S2 Look at all the pics. Seems like standard is dual lights. Anybody know what the wiring differences (and other differences) are? Is it the same as "our" dual headlamp modification?

    Is the FZ6 Fazer S2 ('07+) and FZ6 Fazer ('04-'06) seats intechangeable?

As the topic says. I know the original seats were a little different, but there are two lower seats in Germany and I am not sure why they are different. I though that the seats were interchangeable. The sifference in price is substantial too. Thanks for the info!

    I lost my smoothness...

So, ever since changing my oil and going for a 200 mile ride I noticed that when I start my bike either in the AM or in the PM when going back it is not as smooth. I put Rotella T synthetic. The tach is at 1500rpm since the bike is cold and kind of oscilates between maybe 1400-1600 and you can...

Top case: Anybody try JC Whitney?

So, this looks very tempting price wise, but is it junk? MATTE BLACK TRAVEL TRUNKS - JCWhitney Auto Parts Other option is to go for a Givi E52 with either the Givi or the SW-Motech rack which would set me back around $450. This would be for daily use. So far I use my backpack. I could see...
