Hi everybody
in 2002 bought a 2001 Piaggio Zip 50 (got stolen after 5 months)
in 2007 bought a 2007 Yamaha Neos 50cc (upgraded the engine to 70cc), rode 10,000 m in and around London
In 2009 got my motorbike license and purchased a 1999 Fazer 600 which I rode for around 3000 miles then in...
Congratulations guys! That's a real achievement. I grew up in Toronto, ON and hope to do a similar trip in a few years. To start off with last April I managed a 3100m return journey from London to Lisbon.
Good luck with your future touring plans.
Cheers

In September I will spend one week in Rouen, taking a French language course. Has anyone toured Haute-Normandie and the Rouen area? Any ideas on good spots to visit?
Hi,
I use extended wear contacts (on for 30 days and 30 nights) and have never experienced a problem. use the bike daily for a short commute, but even when on a long journey, like a few months ago a 5000km return trip through Europe, I did not have any trouble with the lenses.
pointers...
Hi there,
I have a standard 44L Yamaha (manufactured by Givi) on a standard Yamaha rack that easily screws onto the passenger handlebars. For me, it works well for everyday commuting in Central London and can fit two full face helmets. I also rode to Portugal and back in early April...
I have been ridding two up since I had around 100m of solo experience on the bike. I'm a lot more cautious with a passenger on the back, otherwise, no big deal.
I never felt the need to make them more comfortable. I have a factory standard seat and did a 5000km return journey last month without feeling too uncomfortable.
I spoke with the mechanic today, it looks like they may be able to straighten the bar. It will also have a 'once over' done just to ensure it has not sustained any more damage.
Cheers
