Hmmmm well its official, its been written off. They offered me $6000 but I refused and got them to send their paperwork to the local Law firm (good old grandpa). Cost me 7,000 then 900 rego green slip and I only had it 3 months!! Try and squeeze an extra 500 out of them or something. Anyone...

I got news yesterday that mine is a write off, 4 months 3 days after some lady did a U turn. They want $2500 for the wreck!! The frame is bent and so are the forks! I think Ill let it go through to the keeper...

So rossi has a broken leg... Will he be back by Philip Island?? Will MotoGP crowd numbers suffer due to not having him there? It was a bloody big off so to get away with a broken lower leg is luck in a way but a huge loss in terms of trying for number 10 in 2010!

Good mate, this morning was thevfirst morning to wake up with the shoulder not hurting. Knees are nearly back to normal so fingers crossed I can mark this down as fz6 1 - hilux 0

Pulled the bike out into the sun today and had a good look over it before it goes to the bike shop. I noticed that when I held the front brake and rocked it back and forth there was movement in the bars, maybe 3mm. Triple Tree bent? Frame head stem bent??

I didn't get one as they said both the bike and car were able to be driven, but her car got towed!! As for riding it home after the crash. , it's Australia!! She'll be right mate!! But yeh heading up to the doctor now.

Yeh I do know how lucky I am!! I didn't get any photos of the bike wedged under the car, i don't think I was thinking straight not to take any photos. I'll check the engine case and take a few snaps today.
