    fazer clocks

It's worth a look at the connector on the ECU. I had some corrosion on mine 1 of the problems was that the LCD and rev counter did not work. There was also some corrosion the connectors that are on the side of the fairing.

    Flat tyre

Hi mikw73 this is the type, cheap snap-in. I have now had them replaced with all brass upright that have a nut on the inside to clamp it to the rim. They are bit overkill as they are ment for 7ton lorrys but I got them free from a mate and like said once the wheel is ballanced all is good.

    opps

Well had my first off on a road bike for more than 10 years. Would love to say it was due to black ice or an oil patch but alas it was human error. The temp was -5c got on the bike waved to wife and pulled off the 15 yards or so to the junction no need to stop so turned right and rolled on the...

    Wales - Scotland ?

Spent a few days in Scottish highlands the other year, if its not raining the roads are excellent and the views incredible. A visit to the Glenfiddich distillery is a must. Also remember when you get into the highlands there are NO speed cameras at all :D

    Anyone had cooling issues?

The only cooling issues I have is that coolant temp only gets to 64-66c when the bike is moving at this time of year. Only gets into the 70's when in standing traffic. Roll on summer, warm engine and warm fingers.

    Bike not running right

Ok so today is the first time I have had time and the weather to look at the bike. Things had got a lot worse in the intervening time, the odd time I had to use it the front display would flash on and off randomly and rev counter did not work most of the time. Any way after about 1.5 hours of...

    Bike not running right

I had a good look he went under every wire as I can see polished points where the straps went the only wire he had to move than just a fraction of an inch is the horn wire. bike1 - YouTube Hopefully you will be able to hear the exhaust not change when the wheel is moved. Only the wheel moved...

    Bike not running right

Thanks Townsends for the advice just been out to the bike, throttle cable is ok. Fuel is only 2 weeks old filled up day before flat tyre. Just started bike on the full stand and let it idle for a while revs dropped to 900+ so I adjusted up to about 1100 and it was rock steady. So I tried...

    Bike not running right

This is defiantly not the norm for my bike. Cold idle 1500ish warm 900ish no matter what the weather for the last 10k+ miles I have had the bike. As for rock the front end, I mean while sitting on the bike hold the front break and push forward and down as herd as you can on the bars. My fist...
