I recently got in to cross country mountain biking, and instead of the $300-$400 lighting systems those guys use, I'm planning on 2 fenix lights with the zoomable lense feature so I can have one set to "flood" and one set to "spot". For way less than a "real" MTB headlight but better performance!
Had the chance to ride a couple KM with the new lever. Love it! Taking a bit of time to feel out the friction zone, but it has also been over 6 months since I was on a bike!
Always helps to have something to daydream about and plan out until you get home!
Hope you had a smooth and enjoyable tour. I've been home 2 years now and I can't wait for my next one.
Bike looks good!
I'm hopefully doing that this year. I plan on using the LED rings as my DRLs, so I'll have a switch to turn the headlights on/off but with the + for the Halos coming from before the switch so they will always be on when the bike is running.
I need to get some good pictures of it... I thought I was nearly complete but now I realize it needs a few more things :)
A slightly tinted wind shield, trade for some red ASV levers, polish the wheel lips and paint the centers, paint the calipers (either red or black) SS brake...
I would so be in on this if it wasn't for the fact I enjoy doing my own mods. Looks like you do good work.
I'm doing this on my bike as practice for doing it on my ram.
Did you send him your cores?
I sent mine down, so I hope I have them back in the next 2 weeks... People up here have started to ride a little bit.
I know he was having computer issues, or he's just busy.
