I used to always forget that I had a sixth gear (driving 5 speed manuals all my life) so I got in the habit on the highway of going "Oh yeah..." and clicking it up into sixth. So now I keep forgetting that I learned I have six gears and trying to click it up into sixth when I'm already there...

I have PR3s front and rear, the rear has about 2,500 miles and the front has probably 3,000-3,500 (started tracking these things after I replaced the front...). I also ride rain/shine, mostly commuting, though I don't have hardly any freeway riding...

If you only hear it while you're riding and not while it's just idling make sure it's not your drive chain that needs some love first

Also, I compared to the '09 diagram and the part number looks the same, so "theoretically" they SHOULD be interchangeable!
Just as an update, I used those zip tie mounts that I posted up earlier and initially had attached them using hot glue. Well, that only lasted ~1,500 miles, which may be a function of the fact that it was cold as **** here - the glue just popped off the inner fairing. Since then I've reattached...
