Hugger compatibility?

Hi all - managed to snap my hugger thanks to a lucky escape when my bike cover was dragged off the pillion seat under the cargo net and wrapped itself around the back sprocket...

Looking on fleaBay, there are a couple of huggers but from later bikes (2008, 09 I think) - does anyone know for certain if later huggers will fit a 2004 Fazer? The Yamaha dealer I contacted was as much use as a chocolate teapot. I know the shape of the swingarm has changed with the 'facelift' Fazers, though in a photo the earlier and later huggers do look identical...

Any advice much appreciated.

Also, I compared to the '09 diagram and the part number looks the same, so "theoretically" they SHOULD be interchangeable!

Ah, excellent, thanks. That's pretty clear, I'll go ahead and order one. I wonder how much my local dealership staff are getting paid? Whatever the amount, it's too much...
