So when I purchased my FZ6 about a year ago the previous owner put on 1" up and back bar risers. I was wondering if I would have to do any modifications to restore the bike back to its stock condition like anything related to the cables or the reservoirs. The mounting is straight forward as...
This same thing happened to me with my Ninja 250r. Everyone told me to check my carbs but I decided to check the plugs first. Sure enough it was the plugs. Only 1 cylinder left, I would stall out if I tried to go above 12 MPH.
I know this feeling. My first bike...ninja 250r, was stolen right out of my parking spot at my apartment complex. My 2nd bike FZ6, its been fine until yesterday i noticed a scratch on the tank...that never came from me, like someone dropped something on my tank or tried to put their kid ontop...
When I took the MSF course we used 125cc bikes.
My first bike was a Ninja 2009 250r and I had it for about a year (I loved that bike but it got stolen like 3 months ago)
And now I ride an '07 FZ6.
The bike i drool over but wont get for a few years is the 2013 ZX-6R...I want that sucker used.
So, I purchased AGV Solare mesh pants a while back and they lasted almost a year until the groin started to rip at the seams. This pretty much amounts to there being a hole in my 'special zone' but it was usually hidden so I just wore shorts. It progressively got larger so I sent an email to...
I am a temporary girl for today.
So, when I first finished my MSF Course I rode around on my 250r in a parking lot and around the neighborhood exclusively for a week, only going like 30 MPH maximum [This was still an ungodly fast speed to me lol]. So every week I probably just went about 10...
Not to hijack the thread or anything but just to make you feel more sick :Flash:, my Ninja 250r was stolen about a month ago right out of my parking space ;O.
If anyone is interested in joining a meetup group in Mercer county NJ:
Mercer County Area Motorcycle Riders (Trenton, NJ) - Meetup
Its nice because there was a huge gap in motorcycle groups between Philadelphia and NYC/EdisonNJ
Ok off topic but relevant to scratches....
I am the goddamn scratch magnet. I just discovered another new scratch on my headlight, and its relatively large. (I don't know the origins of this scratch and thats really irritating because it couldn't have been caused by a rock on the road...unless...
I've never bought tires before so I am pretty new so I'm probably not adept at finding the massive dealz. I do a mix of both aggressive riding or just cruising around, it depends on my mood [since the fz6 does both well]
Well, sort of not the main point of the thread but, is it acceptable to have PR3 Rear Tire and maybe a PP3 for the front tire? I am not sure if there is a general problem with mixing tire types.
