    2007 FZ6 OUT - 2008 CBR 1000rr IN !

I took her out today for the 1st time, it's .....errrr....."a little different". Keep in mind she's on new rubber, and I'm breaking her in, but the power difference is substantial. It's al incredibly light bike for it 1000cc designation in my opinion. I'll report more.....

it's actually not painted, thery are "wapped" in silicone tubing that I bought at the auto store, then split long ways & wrapped around. You can buy a set of the hose that has multiple gauges for around $20, more than enough to do the whole bike, I just did a few.......

    2007 FZ6 OUT - 2008 CBR 1000rr IN !

NO disrespect.....I love the FZ6 and I think the "crowd" that rides 'em is likely more in tune with my riding style, but the thing just didn't fit me....can't tell you why...

    2007 FZ6 OUT - 2008 CBR 1000rr IN !

Thanks, what's your opinions of it up against your BUELL? I looked at the BUELL's, many of the "centralization" , that Buell is known for has been incorportaed into this bike. The Fuel tank and exhaust are in a lower than "normoal" position...

    2007 FZ6 OUT - 2008 CBR 1000rr IN !

I just put it on the center stand and took my time, maybe 2 inches at a time, then really press it in, roll the wheel a little, repeat. Hope that helps

    2007 FZ6 OUT - 2008 CBR 1000rr IN !

Ironically enough, I have a lower back injury and have riden a sportbike before.....Kawi 636.....and I actually found the FZ to be MORE difficult on my back, but that's just probably my one in a million personalized fit problem, not the norm as you mention. I commute, but only about 5 miles each...

    2007 FZ6 OUT - 2008 CBR 1000rr IN !

I'm ashamed to say that I never quite had the love affair that I know (and respect) many of you do with our beloved FZ6. Maybe it was the gazed look of confusion and the corresponding ....." errr.....you meana R6?" .comments, maybe it's the banana seat or the feeling I had the 1st day she got...

First time rider in the street

I got my FZ last October and had been off a bike for 15 years. I found that riding with someone WITH experience is tremendous. Especially if you are new to the streets, you can mimic some of the nuances that an experienced rider will do, like downshifting properly into a turn or riding in...
