I don't know what to say - should I ban myself?
I've taken my blue 07 out for a couple neighborhood rides now, no major streets, haven't even hit above 8k or above 50 mph... but I almost pooped my pants twice, and had to flail my way through a low speed S turn flopping my feet on the ground and praying my ass off.
I'm being a LITTLE bit melodramatic - I've putted around on a few 600cc sport bikes - maybe that's the difference? The CBR600RR strikes me as the most forgiving at these "putting" speeds - they don't really scream until, well, you get the RPMs up into the "screaming" range - my vette has a 6k redline, and on the bike, at 6k, I'm READY to shift...
Someone have some advice, other than "get rid of the bike and get a 250cc Ninja"?
The "mid-range" torque of this bike is going to make me buy new underwear, and soon, I think.
I'm not acting squidly at all - more like an 80 yr old - any reassurance, or tips?
I love, love, love it - but holy crap... I'm a'scairt.
