big props for being one of the most original around... like your baike all the way around. I think it does have a praying mantis look to it...
 
wavex.....I have to be completely honest.....I have never liked the street fighter look, but I think your bike has changed my mind. I just can't get over how good it looks.....I love the black too. You definitely deserve a rep point. :thumbup:

I was introduced to streetfighters about 12 years ago on a trip to Tahiti (my dad was in the military and worked there for 2 years)... I met a guy there that had a Fazer 1000 (I think) from the mid nineties, that he had completely customized... it was an all black monster that I loved so much that I had promised myself I would do my own just like it one day...

I was already very happy with the looks of V2.0, but it was still not aggressive enough to make it a mean streetfighter.... since last night I have exactly what I wanted ;)

Streetfighters are big in Europe and the movement is growing fast in North America and Asia... I bet you, you`ll start seeing more and more of them on the streets in the years to come. :rockon:

That thing is pretty crazy looking for sure in a good way. If I saw it coming down the road I wouldnt know what too make of it and would deffinately give it a second look. I like everything about it besides the quad exhaust although I am not sure what exhaust would be better on it, deffinately not stock.
 
That has got to be the best one I have seen yet. I looked and looked at what others had done when I broke my bike because it may have been cheaper to go naked tham having to buy a whole new front but I didn't like most of what I saw- that thing is awesome.

How in the world can you stand being on that thing doing 100+? That would just be way too much wind for me to handle but I am a big guy and my chest just traps all the air anyway. I will never forget going 109 and sitting up- I literally almost blew off of my bike.

That thing is awesome!!!

This morning was the second day I took the bike to work, and man do ppl stare at me! I took side streets today and ppl definitely wonder "what the hell is this thing" lol With the black helmet with tinted shield, ppl must think I am trying a little too much :D

I love it though, this morning for example, it made my day when I was at a light, listening to Dave Matthews, when a couple of kids looked at me and gave me the rockon sign... I answered of course and then took off pulling the front off the ground by an inch or two :rockon::rockon::rockon:

Now I feel so bad ass... :p

You`re first mistake was to look at what others have done :) you should have started by figuring out the type of look you want and then just spend a few thousand hours trying to find the proper headlight :D j/k

I go 100mph pretty much everyday (carpool on my commute) and don`t have an issue at all. As a matter of fact, unless it`s a really windy day, I am completely fine up to 110mph (real speed, not stock speedo speed)... after that you have to start hanging on a little more, but still nothing bad (for me).
Keep in mind that my handlebar is a couple of inches more forward and lower than the stock bar, so my body position is more angled forward, which helps avoid the "parachute" effect of sitting straight up against the wind.
