I actually finally managed to get my sorry arse out on the FZ this weekend
Unfortunately couldn't meet up for a ride as it was to help a mate take photos for the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
Very impressed at the Brisbane cycling community, think they raised over 5 million dollars for cancer research. Not a bad effort all round.
Did day one on the FZ and day two driving a diesel cage... Really need some panniers for carrying gear, not awesome with a tank bag and backpack on my mate. Still he got some fantastic shots from both.
Sun burnt and sore but not half as sore as some of the men and women who rode from St Lucia to Lake Wivenhoe (and back again) must be feeling tonight!
Got to do Mt Glorious on the way home... at 7.30pm saturday... That was a little bit cold.
Anyway... I will catch up for a ride... one of these days ... honest. Putting a face to a name or two and having a beer would be great
