Well ive been lurking this site for a while ( alot of great stuff) and finally decided to post. I have had my FZ for about 8 months now and logged almost 5,000 miles in that time. This is my first street bike and i love it. I live in deep south texas near the coast so its very flat, not many twisties or much scenery. I did however make a trip up to the texas hill country and rode three sisters. Man that was a blast, im sure those of you who are familiar with this area know what im talking about.I cant wait to get back up there for some serious touring/riding. On a side note i think i was the only FZ6 at the thunder in the hill country motorcycle rally. Anyway here is my bike, its a 2008 FZ6s with givi v35 side cases, top sellarie seat, givi touring screen, throttle lock, and some highway pegs for cruising.

Bishop sounds like Florida. Flat, straight. I'm heading to the hill country tomorrow for a week (Junction specifically) and am looking forward to some of that riding.

Thanks guys. Yeah bishop is one of those blink and you've missed it, but we do have a dairy queen, jaliscos and a gun shop. I would love to know if there are any sportbike oriented group rides through the hill country. When I went it was with a bunch Harleys which was fun but at a little slower pace through the really twisty roads.
