Does this look ok? It's a bit photochopped.....using GIMP....but anyways what do you think about my design choices?

The seat has a red front stripe and the strips are white. The stitching is all black, including the inscriptions, which reads "F 800 GS". I think the black on black inscription is nice and subtle.
I'm not attached to this design or anything....so if you have a totally different idea of how it should look, please let me know....!!!!!!!!!!!!
THX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've attached the original image of the seat and bike. They are the last two on the right of the attached thumbnails.

Yes, I know this isn't an fz6....but you folks are so awesome.....:D

I think the red is a bit much..... sorry :)

I agree, the red doesn't do that bike justice. Maybe an all white panel there, or a simple black on black look. People aren't gonna be staring at your saddle, so much as at your bike overall...

I'm not trying to be a dink but trust me when I say you don't want white on a seat. While I agree it would look great, it would get very dirty very quickly. With the nature of this bike I would not be surprised if it sees a few dirt roads in it's lifetime either:D

I do agree that people won't really be looking at anything but the overall bike. Which by the way is super sexy if I may say so :D I kinda like the red accent idea but could you do a few of the piping looking things in red that are silver in the picture? I think that would look good.

I do like the black on black logo stitching idea though:thumbup:

I did like the red stripe, but if everyone else thinks it's bad then forget it.....
I'm paying all that money for a seat, so I'd like it to be more than black on black, but then again if it looks better maybe I should.....

What about this? :BLAA:

It's the 30th Anniversary edition. The original GS bike had a red seat, so they made the above special edition have a red one too.....funny since the seat is one of the first things you change....

I'm only joking about an all-red seat...but I need more ideas!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the responses so far.....

Guys, it's a WHITE bike, lol :D We're talking about a small white panel, not the overall seat. I have white stitching on my TS saddle on the FZ, and while the stitching is not the same surface area as the panel in question, it has stayed remarkably white. Despite being ridden in the rain a lot, and on dusty shore roads. Just my $0.02 though, YMMV...

Whatever colour you get, the TS saddle will make your butt happy!

I'm starting to like the all black with one red front stripe idea.......
I don't want to overdo it....but I also want it to be a bit customized.....

I understand that it's a white bike and things will get dirty. I also have white stitching on my TS seat and it has held up great. No complaints on that. My concern is if the actual material were white. The material has a certain texture to it that would hold in dirt and grime. Not to mention that is where the riders legs will rub the whole time. I've had dirt bikes with non black seats and they all look like crap after two weeks of riding no matter how meticulous you are at cleaning it. again just my opinion but I think if you went with a significant white stripe you would regret it in short order.

I will definitely agree that it really doesn't matter because you will be riding it all the time since your rear end will feel like it's on a cloud :D

ok........i caved in to peer pressure and just bought an all black one.....with black stitching and black lettering......
the euro/dollar exchange rate sucks......but i didn't have much of a choice for low comfort seats. Low = 33.5" in this case.........

Red seat would look pretty sweet. But you would have to start painting things red to carry it through.

It would be a great way to make it YOUR bike as opposed to your BIKE.

But seriously, a whole bunch of red in random places would look cool. Red chain, red seat, and other red accents here and there. Not too crazy but enough to make it less black.

White, red, blue and black is a cool colour combo. It's vibrant with a lot of colours, but not so many colours that it starts looking like a unicorn vomitted on it.

That being said, I'd get a white stripe like in the first pic. I don't see how it would get so dirty. You are going to clean this bike every couple weeks, no? And most of the time you'll be sitting on the thing.

i clean my bike every once in a while, depends on how dirty it gets.
i think all red would have been too much of a fashion statement.
i went ahead a got an all black seat.
kinda boring (especially for the price i paid :( ) but i'm mostly concerned with comfort.

it would have been neat to have bmw's racing colors, though.
maybe a blue, purple and red stripe on the front of the seat...but there wasn't an option to do that on the TS website....

Here's a cool seat example for the hp2 :
