Does anyone out there need a set of wheels from a 2007 FZ6 S2??

I am trying to decide whether I should upgrade my wheels with my ZX6R fork modification. The brake rotor spacers required for the swap are damn near the same price as a near-new condition ZX6R front wheel with rotors and a tire:eek:

there is always a market, depending on the price i would consider a spare rim set for track tires, but i am broke right now and wouldn't be able to move on anything until after Keira got a job.

But long and short of it, Yes, if you try to sell them, someone will buy them, and if nobody does, i might next spring (earlier if Keira gets a decent job)

Well, I figure the Magnesium rims I want are only a few grand. So call it $2,000 for the stock set..?..;)

For real though, Price is understandable. I usually try to go under what they are selling for on popular auction sites for my FZ-Forum pals. I already pulled the trigger on a ZX6 rear wheel; Price was unbeatable, and I need to find out if it will work anyway.

Realistically, I would only hope to get back what I put into another used set.

the actual wheels themselves minus the rotors are the same as the R6,I would put em on EBAY as such.... :D

A set of FZ6/R6 wheels go for about $350 - $400 on Ebay....

I have a spare set of these for track tyres, or touring tyres, depending on my needs...

The OEM Yamaha wheels are a magnesium alloy, and are quite light, only way i could see replacing them with something significantly lighter would be to replace them with CF wheels, which go for about $4000+ a set from people such as BST.

That's a lot of money for a fairly decent weight saving, and also the undeniable "Bling" factor!

That's a great point. Thank you for the advice!!

$350-$400 is about where I would have expected.

I think CF wheels are a bit of a pipe dream for me; probably only if I were a national level racer.

I paid 400 CAD for a new set of 2009 R6 gold rims. Same as the fz6 rims.

Not too shabby; again, about where I would expect.

Thank you all for the feedback. I think that if the rear ZX6 wheel fits without any major modification I will go for the front as well.
