My take on the local scene is thus.....
Yamaha super sports - Gorge road, or Eagle on the hill. Likely to be putting a knee down, and going hard, and hanging over the centre line.
Yamaha nekkids - Montecute, Bull creek, or Lobie roads....tighter the better. Likely to be scraping stuff or putting along....2 different types of riders (not usually wobbling though).
Honda Super sports - Anywhere....likely to have a "Cool" number plate like "SHOGUN", and be wobbling around corners getting in the way of the nutters on Nekkids.
Suzuki Super sports - anywhere... Likely to be riding fast on the straight bits with the front wheel in the air, and wearing a pair of safety underdurps.
Kwakka Super sports - A little like the Yammy Super sports.
Kwakka Nekkids - A little like the Yammy Nekkids, but will tend to straight line corners a bit.
Triumph Nekkids - A little like Kwakka and Yammy nekkids, but likely to use the whole road through blind corners.
Ducati ALL - Gorge, Lobie, or Strath. Likely to be parked at the cafe, wobbling through turns, or lying on the ground next to the road.
Supersports ALL - likely to fly past the nekkid that just overtook them just before the tight stuff, and then proceed to nearly die while dawdling along in front of the nekkid they just overtook, while he is riding with one hand and writing a text message on his phone to keep him from falling asleep while stuck behind the super sport bike.
BMW motards - Tight stuff. Likely to come through a blind turn the other way on your side of the road.
Not trying to be offensive ( I just am...i don't need to try
), these are my observations, and I spend a lot of time in the saddle.
All but 2 bikes I've helped pick up on the side of the road (and there's been a lot of them) were Ducati, and most at the start of the riding season. I'll head out with a bag one day and pick up all the red plastic from the side of the roads...lol.:BLAA:
So I'd stick with the FZ6 Kazza. If you get a Ducati you increase your chances of falling off.
