Well, I'm all better now (bloody asthma!) and I finally hit the road today to test out my new mods http://www.600riders.com/forum/fz6-mods/30079-well-ive-been-very-busy-girl.html . Here's a bit of feedback for you:

Yamaha Screen
Wonderful! I am only 5'7" and the wind seemed to be deflected over my helmet. I wasn't getting bashed around at speeds over 90 km. Recommended. (AUS$300)

Rizoma Bars
Great!. They are wider and not quite as raised in the centre as the stock bars. I didn't get any back/shoulder or wrist pain at all! I usually get a twinge here or there but nothing. Great riding position. Felt easier to steer with the bars being a little wider. Very happy. (US$78)

Rizoma Sportline Grips/Bar Ends
Very comfortable. And they're pretty :cheer: (US$120)

Pazzos - std length
WOW! The clutch was so smooth and so light to pull in. Having 5 settings on the position of the lever made it easier to find the right position to suit my girlie hands. Brake felt good too. (AUS$209)

All in all, VERY happy with the changes. :D

Ok, what's next? ;)

Pretty nice stuff huh? I was really surprised at how much I like the Rizoma grips.

Hey Karen,
I really like the look of the Rizoma grips and ends but I'm really curious about the elimination of wrist and shoulder pain. I have a lot of that after a long ride, especially when there's a lot of downhill twisty stuff. Did you really feel that much improvement?

I must admit I did feel slight vibrations but only slightly. Didn't do too many twisties yesterday, so I can't judge that yet.

Gotta say though, the wider bars and different raise compared to the stock bars was considerable. I don't know if my height has anything to do with that (5'7") but I felt really good afterwards.

The screen might also have been a contributing factor - my head wasn't getting knocked around by the wind, therefore neck, shoulders felt good.
