Saturday 12/19 Palomar ride - NOW WITH PICS

ok last minute as usual, but John (Cali Rider) and I will be riding tomorrow morning down south around San Diego... we will probably do Palomar unless it's covered in snow :)

Cliff (nccoder), how about the same spot we met last time (for the group ride) at say 9:00am?

You tell us where (it doesn't matter to us) if the above is not practical for you, but around 9:00am would be good for us (breakfast from 7 to 8, and then about an hour to get down there).

Anybody else interested let us know!

Yes! Okay let's make it 9:00am at the mobile gas station at route 76 and the 15 freeway where we all met on the Sept. ride. Yes!! :BLAA:

Wow, I guess I'm riding tomorrow. It should be awesome, 75°F in the middle of DECEMBER!! My deepest sympathies to all of you staring at several feet of snow.

A ride the last weekend before Christmas, I would love to join you guy's. However, this is my only day off and I promised the wife I would take her shopping.

Enjoy

Happy Holidays

Crap David, those track days are seriously paying off!! Those tires are seriously shredded up to the shoulders! Glad you all made it back safely and had a good time. Now for me to heal up so I can show you what the triumph is best known for... amazing cornering:thumbup: We still need to trade up sometime David, I wanna ride the Beast soon.

Good to see you guys! What a crazy coincidence to catch you out there! I wasn't expecting that at all. :D

Cliff and I rode for a while longer and had lunch at the bottom of the mountain in Borrego then took a nice ride home. Thanks Cliff! That stretch on San Felipe Rd. was the fastest I've ever gone on my bike. Holy $H!t! :BLAA:

Awesome Ride! Yeah we shredded, railed and toasted those back tires.

First we hit Palomar's South and East Grades then shot over to Montezuma Valley Rd. and it turned into nothing short of an amusement park! As already said, the weather, roads, riding and company were the best!

Then we saw BryanDH shoot by us and Bryan and I rode Montezuma down to Borrego Springs for a bite then back up Montezuma and over to Banner Grade. We cut over on Wynola Road to avoid Julian and the shot home.

Know it was very short notice and we missed all you other hoons that usually ride with us.

Here are some picks and video will follow as soon as I get it edited. The first pick is from a turn out along Montezuma Valley Rd. and we are up and down around 4000 feet as we ride this road. 1st pic-In the distance just below the horizon you can see blue. That's the Salton Sea. A salt water lake in the middle of the desert....

Thank you CaliRider (John) Wavex (David) Mc Lovin (Mikey) and BryanDH (Bryan) for an awesome day today.
