dammit, still no full fairings.

I really like the full fairing that Yamaha sells in Canada, ain't cheap, but it is the cleanest looking one I've seen to far. I just need to go north for a bit.

i am taking a trip to Canada mid summer, I am hoping i have enough $ saved up by then where i can buy some and bring them back.

It would be nice if an after market company would copy them sometime soon.

My offer is always open to anyone in the UK or USA needing Canada only FZ6 stuff. I can recevie it and re-ship it to your address if you can't get it shipped to where you live.

I swore TCP used to have a full faring kit at one time??

As for the seat cowel...it's more for 'looks' than any actual function. I bought mine when I bought the bike as I don't like the elongated look of the one piece banana seat. The seat cowel helps with making the bike's line look cleaner and a little more sportier IMHO. Kinda the same with the chin faring. No real purpose for it other than looks.

It has one function, to hold you tight in your seat when you go WOT.... I like it very much for that reason too :)

I agree with the seat cowling, just makes the bike look a lot nicer. The term "banana seat" is so correct, and I must get rid of the other half of that banana. I am looking to get one made my "Yamaha", just like Boneman's but in blue. I'm having difficulty finding one on the internet. All I can find are the TCP's which I don't want. I still have not gone to the dealership yet, so maybe they can order one from the factory.

I still think $200 for a molded peice of plastic to fit over the seat is a tad much.

Man, that's putting it nicely. A vacuform machine, some ABS and $160.00 net profit per piece makes it an awesome deal for them.

They still do, it's for '02-'03 Fazer models and '04-'06 FZ models. There's some mention about '07 too, but model S2 is excluded. Here's a link: TCP.

It doesn't show on the pic of the lower fairing, but mine came with the holes for the crash protectors. So no drilling was needed.

I will be keeping an eye on them, i wonder why the S2 would be excluded?
