Removing the Catalytical Converter

I can't believe the E Ram nee, E Scam is still around! 15 years ago that dude was on the old BBS systems hawking them. I joked about rerouting the A/C from my car into the intake to make a true "cold" air intake. He responded with this long drawn out reply explaining the net of the cold air gain would cancel out the AC pump.

The last the I saw an E-Ram post, somebody followed up with a link pointing to the guy's source for the E-Ram. It is nothing more than a 12 volt cabin ventilation fan for a boat.

Question: I already have Scop's (SS) on my 07 (without DB Killers) with the cat. Stock ECM/air filter. If I got rid of the cat, what sound/performance (if any) would I gain? Much louder, deeper?

Tks Scott
I did this and documented it here. I'm definitely glad I did. It increased the engine noise (but not too much) made it run just as (if not more great) and more importantly took out the weight and heat of the stock cat from under my seat. I'd do it again, but I'm not convinced it's worth the £45 I paid for the pipe. The arrow one costs twice as much though!!! Although maybe that one is built right and doesn't need an extra hour of work to get it to fit! :(
