question about brake lines and lever colors.

Might be a lame question but here goes, I have a Silver 04. I was thinking of getting some black/red or blue adjuster levers and red/blue brake lines. I thought it would be cool but some folks around here think the 3rd color would just look off. What do people think? Should I just stick to black/black levers and stainless lines or go with the colored?

Who cares what they say? If you want it get it.


Although if you are wanting two different color brake lines and not blue line/red end or vice versa you may have to but two sets.....

I was more worried after I got them on I'd be like damn it does look off and end up having to get different **** can't be having my baby look off hehe. Maybe I should ask if anyone has a silver 04 and if they've gone with colored brake lines.

I've got a red bike with black wheels, red banjo bolts on black brake lines, and blue things on the calipers(R6 calipers). It looks great.

What about a shocking yellow or orange and shut the 'them' up

I think blue with silver will look good, but then the black & red added to the silver will do as well. :thumbup:

Don't change those brake lines to red or blue. Black or stainless braided look best.

Go crazy on those lever adjusters.

To each their own but I have to agree on the brake lines, Stainless braided looks very High quality and really stands out against all the black down there.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think i'm gonna stay safe and get stainless lines with black/red levers.
