So i ordered my scorpions from indysuperbikes.com (recommended from another member, Thank You). Everything looks in great shape and can't be happier with the looks. WOW, what an exhaust. I'm planning on installing them tomorrow as I hear many others mention that it is a breeze to do.

As everyone else. I will post up a before video and an after video.

Since, i still haven't installed them, all the parts are currently loose in the box.
Does anyone need some information about them. ex: dimensions, etc?

Just ask away and i'll respond.

+1 on Scorpions and another one for indysuperbike.com They really have a helpful bunch of people working there.

Also, the scorpion install is really easy, as long as you know which way the screw tightens The package itself should come with instructions with illustrations. I had to make a couple of runs to the store though, first, for a set of allen keys, and second, to get a tube of exhaust sealant. Let us know if you have any issues with the install. I did it just a couple of months ago so it's still fresh in my head.

Thanks for the offer guys... manas12, you just reminded me that i gotta get that sealant. I read it somewhere on the forum that after the install there was a little bit of leaking air and they just used the sealant and got it fixed.

I'm just anxious to install it.. if only i had a connected garage with optimal lighting.. instead I have a drive way with trees above and a censor light...lol

Yeah, the joint where the Y-pipe meets the cat leaked so had to get that sealant. And what's that about a driveway? I did mine in the parking lot of my apartment complex :Flip:

lol...parking lot...that's cool... the thing is i got it today at like 5pm and im taking a summer course till 9pm.. so when i get home it's too dark...but that's cool..thank's for that head's up with the y connector though..

Okay, so i thought i was going to install my exhaust.. but woke up to late then had to start studying for school. A little bitter/sweet thing going on for tomorrow. I get to go rock climbing all day tomorrow but, i don't get to install my exhaust.. i'll deff. install friday though..post some pics/vids soon..

Doing FZ6 mods trumps all other activities! You are so breaking the rules and I'm affraid you will have to give your FZ6 back. We will send a truck over in the morning to pick it up and give it to someone who cares about it.... of course if you were studying for Motorcycle School, then we might be able to overlook this little "mishap" in judgement.

Also, you're right who cares about the future with school and studying. When riding a motorcycle, you ride as if everyday is your last. Alright Guys, Really Nice Day out and I just came back from installing my Scorpion Exhaust.

Thank You all for your useful posts and great ideas. I Couldn't be happier with the sound... IDK what people were talking about when they had mentioned that too loud is bad. I Freaking love how it sounds...especially since i'm in the city. No DB Killers for me anytime soon.

I can't wipe this smile off my face right now but, i do have to clean my hands..lol..

You might change your mind about the DB killers in time (or when you get old like me). I found over time my TBs took a toll on my ears and even my riding friends complained when they had to ride behind me. I'm like you, IDK too much what others think, but when it's my friends complaining, then I start to listen...that is when I can hear them over the roar of the exhaust! :thumbup:

Wow, so what difference.

I Installed the scorpions throughout the day and since i'm a city boy, there's a lot of noise around me. The scorpions were nice but i thought they could've been louder.

Well, it got dark and it was late night, so i had to cover my bike up and lock it up. I wanted to hear the pipes one more time before i sleep so i turned the bike on and HOLY SH*T. I set off one car alarm close by.

That think was roaring like a Spartan and at a high RPM screamed like Racing bike.

I think i went to bed with a hard one on! lol..I can't be any happier with this exhaust and recommend anyone to buy it and install it your self.

Just make sure you put the cans on the right way and not upside down.. lol :spank:

If anyone has anyquestions about installing scorpions or in general..let me know and i'll try to answer
