Helped out a fellow rider today.... with a car tire on the back?

Yes first of all he did have a car tire on the rear rim of his 2003 z1000 or whatever the naked zx10 was called back then.

I was doing my "race track" route today which consists of an s curve and a clover leaf intersection on the interstate. While on one of the right handed turns on the clover i noticed a bike pulled over. I didnt think anything of it and continued to fly around the corner kinda showing off.

Since you can take all the turns over and over, just never merge onto the connecting road, i came back up on him. pulled over and asked whats up. After considering the possibilites.... i decided on a bad battery. I offered to push him for a push start and he was on his way. Felt good helping him out

Good job helping him out....how did he end up on the side of the interstate if the only problem was his bettery? And yes, some people run car tires on their big bikes (goldwings, valkryes, etc.). There was one pictured on KILLBOY this week or last mid-lean. Supposedly they get 40,000 miles +/- Good for cruising...

I believe there was a pretty long thread on the "other" forum about guys with car tires on their bikes. Some cross reference info and all that. Think I'll get me some 40 profile tires & spinners :cheer:

Im not sure what else is wrong, just wouldnt start so we pushed it and he was off and riding. I took the turns about 4 more times each and didnt see him anymore.

Im going to get a ticket on there one of these times..... i know its not to smart to fly around them so many times, but i ride til mid turn kinda quick, then I check out the traffic and rage accordingly. Hey fresh new assphalt, can pass it up.
