Aww..remember those..when i was little i used to have the peewee version ,called the tomahawk

back on topic..function before form all the way for me..if this modification wasnt done by FZ6771 he may of changed bikes althoghter..1 less FZ owner = a bad thing

I wouldn't classify them as ape hangers! These are ape hangers in my book!
Riding comfortably is important, I don't have a bad back, but have spazzed it out a few times, so I know its no fun. Actually I think they look pretty alright, but stock or clubmans work for me.

definately making the bike a tourer eh? Looks fine...not my personal style since I'd rather be leaned over, but I'd have given my left nut on my 800 mile ride for that setup...

I just added highway pegs to mine, so I guess our bikes are related.

I'd also like to see a photo of someone sitting on it.

how'd you mount those pegs? Do you have an engine guard?

Ditto to that... Touring pegs would be great on the highway when not utilizing the pass pegs...

I am about 180cm but I got the risers to sit me up more.

Injuries from a previous accident was causing me problems with the sock risers. I have not had the new risers on for long so next season I will decide whether to keep the FZ6 or revert to cruisers where I did not have a problem.

I had one just like that when I was 10yrs old. If only I had kept it,it would be worth a small fortune now.:spank:

Try to get a picture of yourself riding it. I'd like to see what your riding position looks like. I've always felt that the stock bars are already pretty upright. It seems like you might almost be pushed backwards by those bars. Or are you a T-Rex with little tiny arms?

Which reminds me of a cartoon I saw of a T-rex looking forlorn and thinking \"What I'd give to be able to reach my wanker!\"

First off I think its funny as hell and I dont mean that as a dig at ALL.

I would so put tassles on it like the cruiser guys just to see their facial expression.
