FZ6 with really tall Handle bars

these bars are from a yamaha XS650 special. NO more back pain! I love it I can ride all day now.

Yes the cables are 11'' longer than stock and the brake hose is a stock KLR650 and 11'' longer wires. it may look wrong but it feels great. I will never go back!

i dont know your riding style,but im assuming with such an upright riding posistion you cant crack open the throttle in the low gears..wheelie city :rockon:

Bloody-good-job you got the touring windscreen. Without that, those sissy bars would be too extravagant. Actually, I'd take comfort over aesthetics anyday.

My riding style has been hard and fast I road raced and drag raced for 35 years. I'm 52 now and still love to go fast and do trackdays I last raced in 2007 on a supermoto. I love the upright riding posistion and yes it does wheelie a lot more easy now.

Try to get a picture of yourself riding it. I'd like to see what your riding position looks like. I've always felt that the stock bars are already pretty upright. It seems like you might almost be pushed backwards by those bars. Or are you a T-Rex with little tiny arms?

Which reminds me of a cartoon I saw of a T-rex looking forlorn and thinking "What I'd give to be able to reach my wanker!"

I got new bars from Forsyth Motorsports on the way. (I came in second in the milage contest for 2008 and that was my choice of prize)

Less rise, less pullback, and a bit wider.

I know it will make it harder to ride long distance now though.

I had bar risers before but I couldnt use them with the new bar end mirrors, just couldnt see anything.

I hope you enjoy them, you can give harley guys crap about thier uncomfortable bars now. LOL

Just keep on them about doesnt it hurt your back all hunched over like that? LOL

Thanks, the weather is mid 70's today and tomorrow so I think I'll go for a long ride today and test the new handle bars out. I'll try and get some photos of me on the bike.
