New bike cam!

Santa did a darn good job this year!

He brought me this cool Motosport Hero onboard cam to put on the FZ6. I went out this evening and did a test run with it and some editing on movie maker.

It is the GoPro Motorsport Wide camera. It shoots at 5 megapixles, with a wide angle lense, 170 degrees. The wind noise is nothing. It is mounted inside a water tight case. At one point during the video I got it up to 90mph with little noise. It has multiple setting, which include a hi and lo sound setting. They recommend the low setting for motorcycles and other vehicals that have high vibrations.

It has a really good suction. Once it is locked down it isnt coming off! Once you unlock it, it pop right off with out any damage.

My windscreen is large, it is the touring screen. However, like I mentioned before the camera has that low audio setting and it is mounted inside a water tight case, so I dont know if the wind noise will ever get too bad. Once it gets a bit warmer again, I might take it out with a few other angles to try out.
