Google Chrome

They sure have! And to think that this is just the Beta too. Imagine what else is coming?!?! :D Google ROCKS!

Fix for Google Chrome

for those of you with 0000000005 error...
create a batch file
chrome.exe --no-sandbox

I saw an article about this (google chrome) on Slashdot. I went to see if there was anything yet but it was a couple days ago and it wasn't up yet. I was very surprised to see members talking about it here.

I quickly followed the link (thanks) and closed down my firefox (thank you again) and installed it.

I was happy to find it grabbed all my bookmarks, but also grabbed passwords.

This is cool.

Alrighty then.

I have made Google Chrome my default browser at work. I have used it all day, and have even made a few posts to this forum with it. Overall, it is a very snappy browser. Even though it's still in beta, it almost works just as good as most browsers out there. I ran it through many paces (as well as I could at work with the Internet Nazi's blocking just about everything), and so far, there have been no real issues. It loads fast. It serves Web pages fast. I like the simplistic functionality of it. I hope Google continues this effort. Even though I like Firefox, Safari, Opera, and even IE from time to time, I think that I'll continue using it on the PC platforms that I work on.

One final note: the Internet Nazi's who block just about every site imaginable (but not this one... yet), have already blocked the Chrome download page. They consider it either a) untested, or b) illegal software. Go figure.

one very cool feature is when you launch it you can set it to open several tabs (your most common reads)

take care

FYI Mike... You can do the same with IE7 and FF. In IE7, just go to the options and enter a new line with each site you want opened in the homepage option. :D
