Beth or ELIZABETH

What do you do for a living?
I am a Lab Technician at a medical school clinical lab. I work with muscle, nerve, skin, and blood. (insert "eeww" here if desired) I have been in the lab for 9 years and still love it. I work with a great group of people.

How long have you owned your FZ6?
I bought it June 1st, 2009, so only 2 1/2 months. I took the BRC in mid-May, having never been on a bike before, and loved it. Started shopping for a bike and am so glad I picked the FZ6.

What other modes of transport do you have?
Honda Pilot

If you could have any bike what would it be?
I am too much of a newbie to know. I am happy with the FZ6, and look forward to opening it up to see its "other" side once I have more experience. :)

What are your hobbies apart from the bike?
Oh, boy, where to start. I have been doing stained glass for 25 years, glass blowing for 4 years, bead-making too, and am taking an advanced lamp-working class starting this month. I am a certified SCUBA diver, but don't get to dive much (being land locked in St Louis). I am involved with an animal rescue group, and keep busy with that most weekends, and taking in foster dogs. I played volleyball until I messed up my ankle badly, so I got a motorcycle instead! :)

What is the best place you have visited on your travels and why?
First diving trip, in Bahias de Huatulco, Mexico. It was beautiful.

How would you best describe yourself?
Optimistic, caring, fun-loving.

What pets have you got?
Two dogs, a 3 year old black lab mix, Olivia. And a 1 year old Border Collie (maybe) mix, Smokey. Current foster dog, a shepherd mix named Gabby (she "talks" to us: arrr arr arrr warrr. Very cute)

Which invention in history would you most like to have come up with?
The Internet, but Al Gore beat me to it!

If you ruled the world, what is the first thing you would outlaw?
Pessimism.

If you were forced to entertain us all at the Forum Christmas party - what would your talent be?
Definitely NOT singing! That would make everyone leave early.

Snow or beach?
BEACH!!!

Windows or Mac?
I'm a PC

F1 or MotoGP?
Both

Which track or album rocks your boat?
Man, it's hard to choose. I listen to everything from opera to rap and all things in between. Coldplay is one of my favorites, when I am in a mellowish mood.

What is your favorite film?
I don't really have a favorite, but I like comedies most. Rat Race cracks me up. So does Bridget Jones' Diary. I could watch both of those a gazillion times.

Meat or Veg?
I am an omnivore.

What is your favorite beverage?
Non-alcoholic...Diet Pepsi. Alcoholic...Captain Morgan's and Diet Sprite.

And finally, your number one rule in life?
If you have an opportunity to do good...take it.

I HAD a PADI jr diver license from when I was younger but it has long since expired...I could only go 60 ft with a licensed adult at the time. I'd love to get re-certified. Diving is a lot of fun! Helps if you have something to look at down there though.
